About the plan

Acorn Host is committed to serving the non-profit community by offering affordable web hosting to organizations that have a small budget to get online.

Our non-profit web hosting plan has the same features as our regular plans, but is half the size and price of the lowest regular plan.

This lets small non-profits get a professional-level hosting package without purchasing more space than they need.

Who qualifies?

This special plan is reserved for sites that have a public service mission, such as homeless shelters, environmental groups, health advocacy groups, etc, who would otherwise be unable to afford web hosting.

• Are you a non-profit, social service agency, or school?
• Is your organization's mission to serve the public good?
• Can your organization not afford the regular web hosting rates?

If you can answer yes to all three of the above questions, than you qualify for the non-profit rate. 501(c)(3) status is not required.

Who does not qualify?

Sites that are for personal use, hobby groups, and other organizations that do not have a public service component do not qualify. While these sites may not "make a profit", they do not qualify as "non-profit" for the purpose of this plan. This plan is for those serving the public good, who otherwise would not be able to afford quality web hosting.
